About the program:
Lippert is excited to announce a groundbreaking new testing program designed to achieve Lippert Qualified status. This initiative marks a departure from our standard technician service schools, which traditionally focus on troubleshooting our products and earning RVTI Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Instead, this program emphasizes hands-on skills and practical knowledge.
These events consist of a rigorous evaluation process, where technicians will be tested on their practical skills and knowledge. Unlike other training programs where mere attendance and participation earn a certificate, this program operates on a strict pass/fail basis. Technicians are expected to come prepared, having acquired the necessary knowledge through the online course prior to attending.
Upon registration, participants received detailed testing criteria. Success in this program is not guaranteed by attendance alone; technicians must meet the established criteria to receive their qualification plaque. This rigorous approach ensures that only those who demonstrate a thorough understanding and practical proficiency will be recognized as Lippert Qualified.
The Patch
THe Journey
This patch system includes one main Qualification Patch (the center) and chevrons for each product line a technician has completed. After finishing their first qualification course, a technician will receive the center patch along with the patch for the product line they have passed. For each additional class completed, they will earn a chevron. Below is the current timeline for each qualification program:

How do I become eligible to participate?
In order to be eligible to participate in these events, you must complete the online learning path through the Lippert Technical Institute's virtual learning platform. This will be a series of online courses you can complete at your own pace.
Note: Completing this online Slide-out Learning Path will also get you all credits needed to become an RVTI Level 3 Slide-out Specialist.
Note: Completing this online Leveling Learning Path will also help you earn some credits needed to become an RVTI Level 3 Chassis Specialist.

Testing Guidelines
Please read these rules carefully and make sure to study the packet of testing questions prior to attending.
- Upon registering for the event, each attendee will receive their testing packet along with the confirmation email.
- Please study this packet, so you are prepared for testing.
- To be considered Lippert Qualified, attendees must pass all stations within the allotted time. Failure to do so will result in ineligibility for any accolades.
Retesting Rules
Retesting Rules
- All retesting must be completed within the times specified on each event page.
- Attendees are allowed to retake each station once.
- If an attendee fails a station twice, they will need to pay a $100 fee to retest. This fee includes a new testing packet, and attendees may retest on any station they previously failed.
- Admin will confirm there is enough time for retesting before collecting any payment.
