About the Lippert Technical Institute
The Lippert Technical Institute is a premier training facility dedicated to advancing the skills and knowledge of technicians in the RV, utility trailer, and marine industries. Our institute offers comprehensive, hands-on training programs designed to equip professionals with the expertise needed to excel in their careers. Through a combination of online courses and in-person workshops, we ensure that our technicians are well-prepared to meet the highest industry standards. Established in 2013, we have been committed to excellence in technical education for over a decade.
In-Person Training Experiences
Technician Service Schools:
This is our most hands-on training opportunity, using mockups to simulate real-life scenarios. These are two and a half day events hosted at the Lippert Technical Institute facility in Mishawaka, IN that provide extensive training through PowerPoint and hands-on instruction, covering various Lippert components.
Regional Training Seminars:
These events are seminar-based courses covering multiple components with some parts and pieces for demonstration. These courses are offered multiple times a year throughout the country, in varying locations.
Private Training:
We offer customizable schedules tailored to your team’s needs, pending availability. A minimum of 20 participants is required. To schedule a private training session, please contact us at LCItraining@lci1.com.

How do I become eligible to sign up for these trainings?
To register for any in-person trainings, you must have a Lippert Dealer Account. In order to start the process for a new account, please click the button below where you will find the forms that are needed. Do I earn credits for these trainings?
Do I earn credits for these trainings?
Yes, you will earn credit for your time spent training with us, in-person or virtually. Below are the credit policies for in-person and webinar trainings.
In-Person Trainings:
You will earn one Continuing Education Unit (CEU) for every hour of training completed. For example, a four hour Schwintek Slide-out class would award you with 4 CEUs. During our on-site Technician Service Schools and Regional Seminars, attendees will receive a printed certificate at the end of the event.
Webinars:
Each online course is assigned Continuing Education Units (CEUs), which are listed at the time of enrollment. The CEUs shown indicate the amount you will earn once the course is completed. Upon successful completion of your course, a certificate will be available for download.
RVTI CEUs:
All of our courses qualify for RVTI Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Additionally, any course listed under a Level 3 specialty category will count toward the required hours for earning that specialty certification.

Our events open on a rolling basis. Typically, in-person events open for registration around 60 days in advance. To be notified when new events open for registration, we strongly encourage you to sign up for your email notification list here.
Qualification Program
The Lippert Qualification Program is a groundbreaking new testing program designed to achieve Lippert Qualified status. This initiative marks a departure from our standard technician service schools, which traditionally focus on troubleshooting our products and earning RVTI Continuing Education Units (CEUs). Instead, this program emphasizes hands-on skills and practical knowledge.
These events consist of a rigorous evaluation process, where technicians will be tested on their practical skills and knowledge. Unlike other training programs where mere attendance and participation earn a certificate, this program operates on a strict pass/fail basis. Technicians are expected to come prepared, having acquired the necessary knowledge through the online course prior to attending. Upon registration, participants received detailed testing criteria. Success in this program is not guaranteed by attendance alone; technicians must meet the established criteria to receive their qualification plaque. This rigorous approach ensures that only those who demonstrate a thorough understanding and practical proficiency will be recognized as Lippert Qualified.
